Founding Story

When I first became a mom, I was horrified to learn that microplastics are found in almost everything—including the water I was mixing with my son’s baby formula.

I wanted to reduce my family’s plastic footprint, but it felt nearly impossible to find household products that didn’t come packaged in plastic, actually worked, and fit into the reality of life with a newborn. So I decided to build a better option—and Blueland was born.

We’re reimagining everyday cleaning essentials so you don’t have to choose between what’s safe for your family, better for the planet, and proven to work.

So far, we’ve helped divert over 1 billion plastic cleaning bottles from landfills and oceans—and we’re just getting started.
